Michael Barnette: Editor-in-Chief
Michael has been a writer since the mid-1990s, starting out as a poet and graduating to prose in 1997. He is multi-published in several genres including a few professional short story sales. Back in the 1990s he also published a small horror and poetry zine, evernight, under the Shadowfire Press imprint, which is where the company got it's name. In addition to publishing evernight the former incarnation published quite a few poetry chapbooks by different poets--and the current incarnation has published one poetry ebook, Michael's Children of Evernight which contains some of his vampire poetry. Michael is in charge of all submissions, some editing and acts as the art director as well as doing the bulk of website programming for Shadowfire Press. Coyote and he also work together to create photo manipulated cover art for Shadowfire Press titles.
Tracy Boyall: Finance Officer
Tracy writes under the name Auburnimp and has several books and numerous short stories out. She lives in England and loves cats of all sizes. She is in charge of sending out royalty statements, making sure everyone gets paid, and looking after our shopping cart. She is our primary Customer Service Representative and does the occasional book edit. She's planning to learn how to use Poser, so she can do covers for the company.
Colleen Craven: Tax Records and Company Finance Consultant-CMC Financial Solutions
Colleen has opened her own firm, CMC Bookkeeping and Financial Solutions LLC where she is utilizing her experience as a consultant for other investment firms and expanding to handle the personal finances for high wealth individuals and small businesses. Colleen received her BS degree (Business Administration) from the University of Phoenix in 1995.
Coyote Osborne: Book Layout and Design
Coyote created out book layout template and helps us by doing the formatting of our ebooks. He also helps create cover art, all on a voluntary basis. He's a professional web programmer and also helps us from time to time when we get stuck working out the more complicated programing for the site. He also teams up with the Editor-in-Chief to create photo manipulated cover art.
GJ Woodrum: Payment Processing and Customer Service
GJ is one of our authors, and she has graciously offered to process payments for Shadowfire Press. She also handles some customer service related issues and questions.
Our Editing Staff
Helen Ravell: Acquisitions Editor/Managing Editor
Helen formerly worked with Michael and Auburnimp at one of their now defunct publishers. She agreed to continue editing their work here at Shadowfire Press as they can't do their own editing. Helen hails from Down Under and we're pleased to have her working with us.
Iris Bell: Editor-Currently on Hiatus
Iris lives on the East coast of Australia with her much younger husband and three cats. She loves writing, dark chocolate and red wine and is passionate about the global eradication of unwanted commas and misused apostrophes.
Jeremy Black: Editor/Proof Reader
Jeremy Black is obsessed with apostrophes, and so enjoys proof reading and other nitpicky pursuits. Besides fixing typos andshoring up punctuation, Jeremy can be found generally enjoying life in Michigan with his long-time partner and their furbabies.
Audrey Homan: Proof Reader
Ms. Homan is part of our proof reading team. More about her soon.
Kathryn Ross: Copy Editor
Is the newest memeber of our editing staff. She lives in England.

Dawn: Assistant Review Coordinator
You may know Dawn from her work with Love Romances and More's Yahoo Group. Dawn has been a Shadowfire Press fan since the day we opened our doors. She joined our staff to help our authors get their books out to reviewers. We're very happy to have her as part of our staff.
Judie: Promotions Assistant
Judie joined our staff after doing volunteer promotions work for quite a few authors through her very own Honey Bunny Promos so when she volunteered to do promotions for us here at Shadowfire Press we happlily welcomed her aboard. Judie has eight children and a devoted husband. She loves to read m/m books and Michael is one of her favorite authors.
Katica: GLBT Promotions Specialist and Anti-pirating Team Manager
Katica is one of our talented authors who volunteered to post all of our GLBT titles to the GLBT Bookshelf wiki and she's doing a terrific job. She also just took over the postition of Anti-piratiing Team Manager here at Shadowfire Press which frees up more of Michael's time so he can focus on editing and writing. We're really glad to have Katica working with us.
Levi: 3rd Party Distribution Manager
Levi comes to us from newspaper distribution and is a friend of both Coyote and Michael. He lives a few miles down the road from the Shadowfire Press headquarters. He handles all uploads of information and books to both our third party vendors and the 'books in print' listing agency. We're happy to have him aboard.
Our Art Department
Coyote Shadow Studio: Senior Cover Art Team
Coyote Shadow Studio is comprised of Coyote Osborne and Michael Barnette. Michael does the image selection and composition and Coyote does the technical work. Together they turn out most of Shadowfire Press' cover art.
Dominic Cordoba
Dominic has been doing fanart for various anime for a while. He does the manga style cover art for the Sakura Blades series.
Kat Haeske: Cover Artist
Kat lives in Germany. Her first published book, Diamond Wolf was released on October 6th of 2008 through Lyrical Press.
Fiona Jayde
Fiona Jayde received a Bachelors degree in Studio Arts with an emphasis was in Digital Media-primarily in web and graphics design.
Janet Elizabeth Jones
As a reader, writer, librarian, web designer and graphic artist serving the publishing community, she is dedicated to the eco-friendly future of ePublishing and the concept of Print-on-Demand.
Marteeka Karland
Emergency Room tech/clerk by day, artist and erotic author by night, Marteeka craves the creative outlets of the latter.
