If you love him, nothing else matters.

"Raven, can you tie this damn thing for me?" he asked, stepping into the living room. As he'd suspected, she was already ready to go and watching TV again. She started to get up, but stopped as Julian emerged from the kitchen, car keys in hand.

"I said I want to go to a club, not a business meeting," he said, grabbing one end of the tie and slowly pulling it out from under Simon's collar. He ran the dark satin through his fingers and gave Simon a smoldering look. "Maybe I'll save this for later."

"Oh, brother," Raven muttered, grabbing her purse and walking around the end of the couch. "I'm going to go wait in the car." Julian held out the keys and she plucked them off his hand. "Don't keep me waiting or I'll shit on your windshield." Simon often wondered what other people would think if they heard some of the conversations that went on in his house.

Once she was gone, Julian tossed the tie over the banister and stepped toward Simon, cocking his head to one side as he regarded him.

"Still too uptight."

"Sorry, I haven't had eighty years to perfect sexy."

Julian chuckled. "It wouldn't take eighty years. Four or five at the most. You've already got the basics."

"The basics?"

"Yes. You're uncommonly handsome, your eyes sparkle when you smile, and you have exceptionally kissable lips." As thought to prove his point, he did just that. "All you need is a little adjustment." He reached up and undid the top three buttons on Simon's shirt, then tousled his hair. "That's better. Just one last thing." Julian captured his lips in a hard, demanding kiss, sucking and biting at Simon's lower lip. When he finally drew back, he smiled at his handiwork. "Perfect."
